It was with some relief that I woke up yesterday to find that it was finally raining, which meant a wonderful break from watering the gardens and also a day for working quietly indoors rather than running up and down garden rows. There is still plenty of indoor seeding and transplanting to do, in fact, we may keep it up this year right through the summer. The transplants, though they are more work than direct seeding, produce much more evenly and reliably.
Today is windy and a storm is expected, but the break is over — out we go, at least until it starts to pour!
