The good news is despite the stormy weather, it was a good harvest day. The bad news is that that traipsing around in a wet clay soil is unkind to soil textures. Ah, those poor soil aggregates!
Anyway, we have almost everything we had planned:
- Mesclun mix
- Some summer squash (2 or 3 varieties, distributed evenly by size)
- 2 Kohlrabi (peel then slice or shred and eat raw, you can also boil and serve with or as you would potatoes)
- Tropicana Lettuce
- A bunch of green onions
- The last of this batch of broccoli
- Some delicious wild black raspberries
- Sprouts (alfalfa and clover)
- A big bunch of coriander (aka cilantro)
- A small bunch of carrots
Bon appétit!
