What a treat this sunshine is! We were lucky to have the help of friends Luc and Daphne on Sunday to harvest the pumpkins and assorted winter squash that were still in the field. Thank you!

Mateo was a big help today too, harvesting potatoes with his Maman, then counting the batch that had been washed and were drying in the sun. What would we do without him?

Catherine and I started assembling the first Fall baskets today, with the last of the summer vegetables we harvested before the frost on Saturday night: tiny, tiny eggplants, green peppers, and a few remaining summer squash.
There are lots of tomatoes at varying stages of ripeness to sort through, and hopefully there will be one round of ripe red tomatoes for everyone.
