The whole plant process – teeny tiny seed to fragile seedling to blowing in the wind greenery to prolific tummy filler – amazes me every year. Especially after carefully picking up the pretty seeds with tweezers and placing them in soil blocks and covering them up, anxiously awaiting a little sprout in the next few days. Much the same as watching these little people grow from an idea to a wrinkly babe to a walking talking bundle of energy… who will one day be bigger and older than I am today. It’s funny how you can be surrounded by something your whole life, but only once upon a day, like any other day, the intricate motions sink into your consciousness.
And the daffodils really do look lovely on this springy day. Even the stemless wonders Kamé piled into a bowl.
